Migo Mile for June

Migo Mile for June

A Good Sunday Morning It is fantastic to be back. Back putting races on, and back with Migo Mile. Having hosted the Virtual Migo Mile during the lockdown years, this is our first time hosting the “in-person” Migo Mile as Acorn Trails (previous editions were hosted by The Run Bible) Back to basics, and trying to get the event back into people’s thoughts and calendars, we had just 20 runners sign up for this free […]

South By Five – Bellahouston Park

South By Five – Bellahouston Park

So Bella By Five came around. The fifth of our six race South By Five series. The Bellahouston Park course is a strange one for us, in that it is 100% tarmac. And what it lacks in mud, it makes up in […]

Just like the Pollok Park Trail Race earlier this year, we promised mud. Pollok Park delivered. I keep saying it, race after race, but this one is my favourite! It can’t be […]

Sx5 – Linn Park race report

Lx5 race report South By Five in its second running started its second race. Linn Park was looking fantastic. Bright blue skies, glorious sunshine and a wee touch of ground frost, which would clear in time for the race start. It kept the race team chilled from the early setup. Absolutely Febulous – InterCity

InterCity Absolutely Febulous got off to a racing start, with our virtual Edinburgh to Glasgow Relay challenge, InterCity. Racing snakes, mud hogs, and hill lovers alike took off from the start line in “Edinburgh” and headed west towards the setting sun of “Glasgow”. By the end of the week competitors had completed over 1000km between them (997km, but two did not report in, so we’ll use poetic license and assume they completed 3km between them!). […]
